Makoma House

Makoma House is a women's fashion boutique founded by Maggie, a lifelong fashion lover who turned a family opportunity into a thriving community-driven brand in St. Charles, IL. What started as an online concept became a physical storefront with a clear mission: to create a space where women uplift, support, and celebrate each other, not just shop.

When Maggie came to Studio Daisie, Makoma House was launching its Shopify store for the first time. Our goal was to build a digital experience that matched the warmth and intentionality of the in-person boutique, one that felt curated and community-driven rather than like a generic online store.

We focused on bringing Maggie's founder story to the forefront, establishing a strong brand identity rooted in her values of community, empowerment, and thoughtful curation, and creating a shopping experience that would resonate with her audience of fashion-forward women.
